On my last visit, I had a ham omelette while my wife had truffle eggs and a cappuccino. Both dishes were delicious. The staff was polite and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.
We needed a quick and light meal for two and luckily found a table inside the restaurant that was conveniently located across from our accommodation. The menu had a good selection and they also had a variety of beers on tap. Our waiter did not mention the happy hour special on beer, which is available from 5pm to 7pm.
We had breakfast here a few times while we were in Sydney. The staff was friendly, service was efficient, and the food was good. While it may not have been homemade, everything was delicious. We paid $80 AUD for the two of us, which included a cooked breakfast, juice, tea for two, and raisin toast. The price seemed high at first, but it is the standard price for this type of breakfast in Sydney.
This cafe restaurant in his hay day was a very nice little joint, so I recommended meeting a coworker here for lunch. what a mistake! eating itself is average, I can't say it was horrible, yet I can say it was amazing. what really betrayed me, however, was the attitude, who seemed the superior or manager of the restaurant I wish I had asked for his name! he was absolutely overlaid, arrogant and insulted even my fellow worker with his stupid humor! completely unacceptable. this man will handfully ruin the call of this company. on a last and separate note, please invest in the renovation of the place that I sit (again, with my colleague) have been completely revealed with the whole kissenfoam that is covered by a filled masking tap cover. very embarrassing, as it is in the qwb, which is a little more prestigious.
Had a great lunch- lots of energy, great service and delicious food. Ideally located at one end of the QVB so central to meet. Been there before for coffee and had an equally pleasant time.
