Settlement on Quay - Sydney

We loved everything about this restaurant: plenty of seating choice, inside and outside, good and healthy food choices and excellent service. The location is also great, close to the harbour but out of range of loud noise from traffic, construction sites and harbour activities. Friends had chosen this as being worth a try and so we were all impressed as foodies with the results. It is the sort of restaurant with the potential to become a fave place at which to eat.

A nice little restaurant/café in the heart of round kai. When surrounded by often overpriced and wanky restaurants, it is nice to dip here for lunch. I had the plucked chicken and quinoa salad, which was a little dirty, but still had hit the point. the mushroom, the chicken and the pea risotto is my pick, washed with a glass shiraz.

Expandable restaurant with floor to ceiling windows view in direction circular quay, it also has exterior seats, although it was thrown down the day I visited. the dining room was busy with city types, but the service was still timely and friendly. the menu has modern Australian dishes and my prawn linguine was well equipped with perfect al dente pasta, a tasteful sauce and a healthy amount of shrimp. a golden rule of chai lattes (in my opinion) is that they are rarely good when served in a teekanne so that they pour the drink themselves. Unfortunately settlement has done nothing to ruin this rule, and the latte was disappointed with a slightly strange, perfumed taste. not my cup of tea.

The only reason I've ever ordered from here is because it's in my building. the personal is limitless, it just doesn't matter. my normal command is toast that they would consider difficult to be kidding? but they do. I always ask for 'sweetlings and only a tiny piece vegemite', but the posture is careless and they just turn in the circles on the brown paper bag and I end up with dry toast (hard every butter) and a plate of vegemite. as I said, if it wasn't in my building, I wouldn't go. and if I wasn't hungry to rush into meetings, I wouldn't eat it. if they do something as basic as dead very well, says 't much for the rest.
