Otherwise they always eat down, then they go up to the third stage to have a calm drink.
This place to dinner yesterday evening tried and was blown away from the excellent quality of the meal. absolutely delish, fast and friendly service, great prices. something for everyone, even I, who is quite healthy and wanted all 5 food groups on my teller! lachs was excellent, highly recommended. there were 3 of us and we all loved our meals.
It appeared very clean for a pub and decent atmosphere, but the food left the place. a dried, overcooked scotchfilet without any sauce to be offered. outside the lunch and dinner, it is not worth much.
The canapé function yesterday was top notch, seared rare beef with asparagus was yummy. Tuna with avocado, wakame, Japanese pickle radish and toasted sesame also amazing. Prawn cocktail was refreshing, and The Nutella pannacotta was the highlight of the evening, served with salted caramel praline, and liquored strawberries.
Wow, this was a massively disappointing experience. We were attracted to this place because of the cheap sirloin steak $10.95) but it was just bad! Firstly, we waited for about 30mins for our order. Mind you, the place wasn't even half full. We ordered a medium rare steak, which was well done and the chicken club wrap which was dry. The mash was a bit clumpy and bland, like it's been sitting there for days. The chips weren't even fried well, it lacked that crispy, deep fried look. Most disappointing meal I've had in the cbd and what a waste of my lunch break.
