Feedback gevenThe views of the room was fantastic. especially while vivid was in sydney. we started with rolls that were oh Sooo-Stele. a small piece of butter for a table of 8 and about 3 tablespoons of oil! it was not really important after. two of them said that broth was terrible, it was left alone . the escapes were boring and tasteless, but the nets were very good. we left before the gloomy, because we didn't like the sound of both.
We came here for a Christmas party. it was in late november, so they would think that the personal would not be sick of the silly season just yet, but it seemed upset and mechanical. view of the clock. butterbrot and the brot basket were removed from all tables after the first cursor. 50 min away before the party was finished. it seemed no other personal to approach other than the waiters. who looked too good about it, the non-food questions we had asked. the security stood behind us and pulled us a long way to the point that was a bit overrun. the prospects were beautiful and uninterrupted, but surrounded by roads. much better prospects at other place for the price we paid.
I attended a 50th birthday party at the restaurant on a Saturday evening with about 50 people. The initial bar service was good, but the entree of soggy, over-battered fish and seafood was disappointing. The main course of lamb or fish was average. Towards the end of the evening, a waitress brought me a lopsided beer. When I tried to pour it myself, another waiter or manager took it away without explanation, and did not return it when I asked. This was very rude and off-putting.
I recently attended a post-conference dinner at this restaurant with about 50 people. I was not the organizer, just a participant, so I am unsure of the cost per person. The view from the 6th floor window was fantastic and the space was very spacious. Pre-dinner drinks were served efficiently along with a delicious selection of canapes. The options for the main course were lamb or cod to start, followed by a choice of fish or meat, both of which were excellently cooked and prepared.
On Saturday night, we celebrated our son's wedding at the Star Room. The entire process, from booking to the kids' departure, was stress-free and highly enjoyable. James, the Manager, was always available and responded immediately to any issues or queries, as did his assistants. The food was fantastic, and all of our guests commented on the presentation and taste of each course. With 148 guests, it can be difficult to please everyone, but there didn't seem to be a problem at the Star Room. The view was amazing, especially when the fireworks started at 8:30 pm. It couldn't have been a better night.
