Hardly for a sushi train restaurant. I find most dishes to enlarge the sauce that it is overwhelmed the sensitive taste of the raw material. I think they probably had too much Chinese influence, and the Japanese component was lost. Aircon was far too high that it is freezing out to the outside. Friendly staff.
Bit of a mixed case here, as is often the case with a sushi train. Some really good plates like the pork balls and a few not so good. Sashimi plate was the pause everything. Fast, fresh and generally delicious. Grief
We used to eat in at this World Square Sushi Roll a lot, dozens of times at least. Stopped because the prices went up as the service got worse. Professionalism of table service really dropped, & takeaway from the restaurant got items & prices wrong so many times I started dreading going there because I'd usually have to complain & correct them :( The dishes we liked all went up to $4.90 for 2 little pieces, & for four people incl 2 hungry teenagers we'd often pay close to $100 for sushi, you can get a proper cooked restaurant meal for way less than that. Just couldn't afford to come here any more. A shame, because their bamboo rolls (wrapped in avo) & grilled salmon are among my favorite sushi dishes anywhere. They just priced themselves out of contention. You can buy the grilled salmon at their downstairs takeaway which is not quite as good but still nice, if you look out for when they put them on special in the evening.
My favorite sushi train restaurant in CBD !!!! Grief Sushi and Sashimi are always so fresh and good quality. Grief Great place to have a nice lunch when I'm in CBD area.
