Ultimo Kitchen - Sydney

We were staying next door at the newly refurbished Aspire Metro where the restaurant has not opened yet (as at January 2017) so this this was the perfect place to get delicious Chinese meals at reasonable prices. You can eat in, there are only a few tables, but we opted to take out and eat in the hotel room. We tried various meals of chicken, beef, rice and noodles, as well as their great soups, and were very happy. Only disappointment was that they close on Mondays, so take note!

Tucked away just a short walk from Harris Street, this local Chinese establishment serving Aussie style (mostly sweet dishes) Chinese food. Mains with rice are $8.80 with rice. Everything is cooked/reheated to order meaning you can stop by and order and have it ready in 5 to 10 mins.

Great authentic Chinese food with indoor and outdoor seating. I love their stir fried beef rice noodle. The wings are a must-try, they're juicy and tender and have a classic thick crunchy coating. Good value food

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. The menu is no-fuss but offers great food. I would rate their Chinese cuisine a 10 out of 10. It is run by an authentic family. They only accept cash, but also take Beem and other payment apps.
