I had the omaze don udon and tofu salad and it hit the spot. Delicious. Service polite and prompt. Price very good at $67 for 3 people. Fun location. Galleries shopping centre.

I was given a set at the empty communal counter in the middle of the restaurant because I was by myself. This was on a Monday right at opening 11:50 a.m. There were only 3 other parties in the restaurant and many empty tables. My polite request to be given a table was refused. I had also waited half an hour for the restaurant to open. Though I had saved eating here until the end of my trip as a special treat, I walked out instead.

Yayoi, besides being über fun to say, is reliably delicious and fun to the boot.

It was last Sunday, my friend and I wanted to come here to try nice authentic Japanese food after busy work day.
