Stolovaya-pel'mennaya - Syktyvkar

This is a regular cafeteria. It gets quite crowded on weekends. The dumplings are not homemade, which makes the name of the establishment a bit confusing. We tried them and they seemed like a store-bought option. The other dishes looked quite decent. We were surprised that masks were not provided. We were given them separately and they were added to the bill at 10 rubles for two pieces. For comparison, in the store "Magnet" they provide simpler disposable masks for free. There is nothing special about the interior. The dining hall, which is rather small, is oddly dark. There is only one bathroom, but it is clean.

That's all. The food was average with mediocre service. The ambiance was unique. Overall, it was fantastic.

I cannot recommend this restaurant as they do not accept walk-ins without a reservation code. Is this considered discrimination? In fairness to the inspectors, I must acknowledge that they did offer a discount. Just something to consider. ♪
