But this will change the 22.12.2022 next Thursday morning. After just two months of remodeling, the couple then opens their Café de Paris Sylt . With chocolates, croissants and cakes, the couple therefore wants to bring French flair to Westerland. And indeed, if you enter the place that was still empty until recently, you can expect a pink upholstered furniture, marbled tables and mint-coloured walls. The cake counter is already standing. We still lack a bit of decoration and the pictures have to be hung up, says Müller, who, like Mandic, spent most of her life in the gastronomy on Sylt. We do not want to reinvent the wheel, but simply create a beautiful place where you like to meet, says Mandic. The couple got inspiration for their concept at their last Paris holiday. Therefore, there are now creations like the breakfast Petit Amour with two croissants, jam and cheese for 6.90 Euro, Petit Fours or homemade cakes on the map. Depending on the season, the couple wants to open its café with around 100 seats from 9 am to 23 pm. From breakfast, lunch to evening wine, the two Sylters follow the French Bistro concept. We are looking forward to hearing whether the guests find the French cafe culture as crisp as we are, according to Mandic.
