Unfortunately we have only become aware of the small kitchen cats at the end of our holiday by the recommendation of friends. we were there last night and again today. because the weather was very nice, many guests sat outside, and we got two more places in the dining room. I had a look at the kitchen and the counter. what is done there and in the service is unbelievable and all that without spreading a feeling of hectic and stress. chapeau! it is necessary to remember that the operation has been running since midday. when someone complains that four people are rejected shortly before 22 o'clock, he has no idea or no feeling.People working in gastronomy are also only human. the card is clear, there are also recommended tags. everything we had tasted delicious. also we can only praise the extremely friendly and attentive service. We look forward to the next year.
We have unfortunately had the feeling twice within three days that hospitality is written very small. Despite full gas room we were dismissed (2 couples) at 21:55 h with the foundation ".we close now" while others were asked in the same breath after their drink request.

You really have to have eaten the rumpsteak once. we had the garnel pan, which is also wonderful. plentiful, pleasant sharpness. the wine selection is clear, but sufficient. if you don't like to sit on high tables, you should mention this at the reservation, there is a small next room. also the terrace is beautiful. operation friendly and attentive. really recommended.
22 years I have lived on sylt and since 11 years come my man and I have at least 4x in the year after sylt. I knew the old little kitchen card from the past. the food was completely in order at the time when one did not bring any great demands or expectations. the foods were simply prepared without raffinesse. for a small intermediate meal it was enough. today's small kitchen map offers a completely different level and very pleasantly surprises: good ingredients prepared with harmonising ingredients on the spot. the velvet with a wonderfully creamy rim (where is this still in this Light-Products-Society), also the very tasty gurkensalat and the juicy sea tongue with accompanying butter taste, which is unrivalled on the island for me. as a sweeter conclusion, the soft ice cream with pumpkin seed oil and roasted pumpkin seeds is necessary for us. every genus man who likes good ingredients very well prepared and does not mourn fat-driving bratkartoffeln afterwards should go there once. the ingredients are bought seasonal, so there is not the chop constantly. the restaurant has very few places! so make sure to book for evening. the service is very attentive and fast. what is not a matter of course in restaurants in keitum.
