Very short walk right across from the train! As the train crowd descended on it, we still had fast service with a smile and had plenty of time to eat before having to load up the train for the ride back to BC. Amazingly tasty burger and the vegetarian tacos were, WOW! We loved it. Oh, the french fries were bigger than McDonalds but not quite as thick as Wendy's and were crispy and HOT! Loved those too! Farm to table so everything was very fresh with lots of flavor.
I waited to write this review, but we came for homecoming weekend for Brunch and we had a party of 5. It was super busy, but we could get a table. The service was missing, and I don't remember the name of our server, but I understand it was busy and our party was big. She checked us like once and had to be reminded twice to get my mother a glass of water. I have a burger and my friend has the Sweet Fire BLT Tacos. We shared our meals, so I have to try both! I really liked the burger, it was well seasoned. The frits weren't what I expected, they lubricated like made pommes. The tacos were absolutely amazing. He got the crispy butterflies as his side, and they were really very crispy! All in all, we really enjoyed the food here, but the service lacked enough that I don't know if I would give it another shot. But the food can be very good!
Saw outside and ate by the river, had the butcher bowl and was super satisfied with the food. Caroline was our server and was simply the reason for the 5-star rating. She was extremely hesitant and personal. The food was great, the service was even better and we will be back soon.
Excellent cuisine next to the railways in the city centre of Dillsboro. Sit outside on the river! The salads are excellent. Try the black shrimps with Gouda shoot and you will never be the same again.
Absolutely blown away by not only the service which was amazing but the food and plating was 5 star! I could smell the collards when I walked in and had to have them. The shrimp and grits was one of the best I?ve had in a long time and the addition of the chicken sausage was perfect. The pancakes are HUGE! I wish we?d known that prior to ordering for the kids with us. I cannot wait to go back. Dillsboro is such a wonderful small town and finding a unique gem of a restaurant is extra special.
