On the bright side, the owner is very nice and responsive—he's hands-on when you bring up any issues. It's just puzzling why they can't maintain a consistent quality.
I've never written a negative review before, but my experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. I patiently waited for an hour and a half for a "hot and ready" pizza. Initially, I was told it would take 15 minutes. After 45 minutes, the cashier asked for my name, but I still hadn't received anything. Then, at the one-hour mark, she asked for my name again, and it was still the same story. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes, I decided to speak with the manager. He checked every pizza behind the counter and, to my surprise, there was my pizza – it had been ready for an hour. I won't be coming back here again. My name is ALEX, and I can't believe a cashier couldn't recognize four letters. It's laughable that fast food workers want to earn $18 an hour. This was my worst restaurant experience – advertised as "hot and ready" but it turned out to be cold and took an hour and a half.
The shortage of staff is very noticeable. While the food was good, I can't give a higher rating when I've seen more people working at a lemonade stand.
I was in town visiting my son at WCU, and we decided to grab some pizza for lunch. Upon entering, I noticed that there was only one person working, who I assume was the manager. He was doing his best, but it was clear that the situation was overwhelming. I placed my order for the pizzas and waited about 15 minutes. The manager was very friendly, and I really hope they can hire more staff to help out.
We always order on the app to get fresh pizza instead of the old hot n ready which the app convinced us to try the new fanceronni pepperoni pizza but this is what we got. Looks like they just dropped handfuls of pepperoni on the pie which made it literally puddle grease and any pepperoni under the top layer was was almost bubble gum consistency, chewy and disgusting. The dough wasn 't cooked all the way through either assuming because of the massive amount of pepperoni on the top.
