High-quality food that is locally made with hours of care and attention, and serves you with exactly the right amount of fun conversation. Considering all this, the cook tasting menu was a large amount (6 courses for $60) for everything we have. They even worked skillfully to limit food (pescatal, vegetarian). For other vegetarians, boss makes a meat substitute corn dog thing, that's really the tops. It is always nice to see people what they love and show it in their work, and that was certainly the case here. One of the best meals I've ever had.

Absolutely the best foodie destination in all cny. it is quite clear that this is a passionate project of two very experienced chefs and their employees. cut edge eating without obnoxic or pretentious (although it seems that if they were not exposed to this type of food) the menu looks great, but we went with the tasting course. they take a lot of time to chat with them about their interests, aversions and general farewellness and then a very penetrating experience. super friendly staff, without staying over them while they eat. happy to talk to us about the retro buffalo chopper that caught our eye and even chat a bit about her calendar and other ventures. you have to see yourself.

That was the most incredible dining experience I've ever had. I visited for a birthday party, and the Defi cocktail, which I had after a brief conversation, was fantastic. I opted for the chef's tasting menu, and the stories behind each dish enhanced the experience significantly.

This restaurant isn’t for the faint-hearted or the boring! If you’re considering spending your Saturday night at a place like Golden Corral or Olive Garden, then Défi isn’t for you. We opted for the chef's four-course tasting menu, accompanied by wine and cocktail pairings. The chef consulted with us to ensure that the dishes aligned with our preferences, and it was such a delight to be surprised with each course! The food was absolutely incredible, and the open kitchen showcased a true dedication to culinary art. The cocktail and wine pairings perfectly complemented each dish. My only regret is that after dinner, I noticed the decor of the pasta court felt a bit underwhelming. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Oh my! What a find!! We had a evening meeting downtown and were looking for a place to grab a bite. I remembered driving by this place awhile back and thought it looked interesting with glass walls bookending it and the kitchen out in the open, so why not check it out. Everything was off the charts. Food, patrons, staff all fun and fantastic. We started with cocktails hand crafted by a good soul called Gus and we loved them. We tried salad made of various greens drizzled with some soft cheese mixed with greens puree was intriguingly delish and it even got better from there. That porcelet app is a gift from the gods.. The duck and scallops were perfect and surrounded with flavors that multiplied the entree's superb taste. It was a great meal and night. The staff was so relaxed, fun and helpful we were simple blown away with everything. See you again soon, Defi.
