Oompa Loompyas - Syracuse

My best friend of college is Filipino and always raves over the kitchen, so I was thrilled to try some Loompyas. Unfortunately, I took my order. I wish I had tried there to buy more food! The corner on which it is is near several places that I often, but, so I will be back. I have problems with spicy foods lately, so I was nervous the sauces would be too hot, but the sweet chili sauce had exactly the right amount of sweet with a nice kick to him, not overwhelming sweet or hot, and perfectly complimented the beef and seafood loompyas I tried. The employee I interacted with was very enthusiastic and friendly. I confess that I teased my poor friend (she is now in Ohio) with pictures of the menu and my record. What a great introduction to Filipino Essen! You'll see me soon.

Coming from New York City, we never thought we would find good Filipino food in Syarcuse. My fiancée who is a Filipina, and her family come to Syracuse for our wedding and we wanted traditional Filipino food. Thank God for Oompa Loompyas! We met with cell today for a tasting and loved the food! Your lumps, pancite, barb queen and garlic rice were great! We are pampered in NYC with a wealth of Filipino food and we are grateful that we found a great option for our wedding. We can't wait to eat more food from Oompa Loompyas on our big day. Thank you. Came to syracuse from out of town and chose to eat here because of its proximity to the concert we were going to. So glad we did, the staff was sweet the food was amazing!

Awesome food and Awesome Owner. I love the Bistek bowl, Sriracha burger, and the Buffalo Chicken Loompyas!
