This is a fantastic traditional fish fry restaurant. The fish sandwich is excellent!

The restaurant has a major inconvenience: they only accept cash or checks. It doesn’t make sense that they accept checks, as they can easily bounce. It’s frustrating to think I could order $100 worth of food and only have a card, making it a waste of time. Just shake my head.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the food was fresh and served hot from the pan. The onion rings were also freshly made. I got a lot of food for the price, although I wish they accepted card payments. Nowadays, not many people carry cash. It was pouring rain, and I had to leave to find an ATM. I could have gone home, but once I have a craving, there’s no stopping me. This was my first time dining here, and I think they could benefit from offering a wider selection of drinks. A freshly made sweet iced tea would have been a perfect addition since not everyone drinks soda. Lastly, I wanted to add tartar sauce to my sandwich, but the small container cost two dollars, which seemed a bit excessive. I didn’t try the homemade deli salads, but they looked delicious, so I plan to get those next time. Overall, I would definitely eat here again.

Whenever I visit, I always order the special, which includes a generously sized fish sandwich and a side of fries. The price is unbeatable!

I visited during lunchtime when the parking lot was empty. I asked if the fish and fries were hot, and they assured me they had just been made. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case; both were ice cold. It was quite disappointing.
