Timber Tavern - Syracuse

I arrived there tonight with some friends around 7:15 PM, only to find out that the bar was closed. However, I noticed three ladies leaving who appeared to be quite spirited. We decided to go to JPs instead, where we had a fantastic time and spent a couple of hundred dollars.

It seems to me that the bar might be closing down soon. It's a lovely place with plenty of space. Perhaps it just needs a more capable owner. I'm not entirely sure.

Great restaurant with delicious food. The only downside is that they only accept cash.

The atmosphere is very friendly, and everyone seems to know one another at the bar.

I booked a party a couple of months ago, but a week before the event, they called to cancel. They did refund my money, but I was only given a week's notice to find a new venue, which was pretty disappointing.
