Metro Coffee - Tacoma

This is my all-time favorite coffee shop! The owner is fantastic, and the coffee is consistently excellent. They also offer a wonderful selection of Mad Hat teas—have you tried the Holy Detox? Plus, there's plenty of outdoor seating. You definitely shouldn't miss out on this gem!

I have a method for evaluating coffee at different places: I order an Americano with no sugar or cream—pure coffee. Metro aced this test brilliantly. However, they adhere to Tacoma's unfortunate straw ban and provide a flimsy straw that seems to be made from dried reed. Unsurprisingly, the reed broke apart in my cup. Overall, I would rate this experience 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I've really missed Metro Coffee. I'm thrilled to see them open again, and they're even better than before! They were already amazing!

Must try the peanut butter breve cappuccino. This place is a hidden treasure, the good vibes all over the place.

It's nice to sit and sip a drink between classes on their couch.
