Shake Shake Shake - Tacoma

Fries were quite greasy, the bread wasn’t great, and the seats could use a little work. However, the burger was pretty good. I probably would recommend coming here compared to a fast food joint. Service was good giving this place a boost.

The food is pretty good for what it is. Only minor complaint was their milkshakes are made with soft serve and are kind of watery but still pretty good. The interior is a nice retro 50's diner experience but it's a little run down. I guess that adds to the greasy spoon atmosphere but I noticed it right away. The front end consisted of two very nice, and very busy young ladies who did a great job. I'll definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly menu and most kids will enjoy the interior.

Although it looks great, I got food poisoning almost right after eating it, and also the burger Patty's do not fit the buns at all so it just falls off. However the milkshakes are good, just really milky and less ice cream. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, but they are not fond of kids off the look of the parents.

Used to be one of my favorite spots to get a burger in Tacoma. Between the massive drop in quality of the food, and the rude teens working there, I will not be coming here anymore. A couple of tips: instead of hanging out and flirting by the food window, maybe employees should wipe down some tables and pick up the trash and food on the floor. Clean the fryers, fries and tots shouldn’t be that color! Sad to see places like this go down hill.

Really disappointed with both the service and the quality of food this evening. I ordered my family’s food to go. The person taking my order questioned if I wanted to actually order as much food as I was ordering. When we received our bag of food I knew right away food was missing. I went up to the counter to get the missing food they argued how much was actually missing, when they just took my order or could have checked the bag and see on my reciept how many burgers weren’t in the bag. Much to our disappointment, the quality of the food when we finally got home was very poor. The fryer oil needs to be changed, the grease on our tater tots was a gross shade of brown and the patties on our burgers were so burnt they crumbled off the burger as soon as we opened the wrapping. Plus minimal condiments on the burger and excessive amount of grilled onions. All around very disappointing.
