Food is ok,the usual favorites..Before I usually buy at Rowena's before heading home from Tagaytay for Pasalubongs and etc. Tarts have many varieties but lately their buko tart is like custard na lang.buko pie is not highly expected. Also, the cashier assigned on that evening is not accommodating upon giving her my payment as she has problems on her cash registry she just keeps me hanging for around 10 mins without saying a word. She doesn't even say thank you as she just handed over the change. Good thing the other personnel who are assigned at the cakes and dine-in near the entry/exit are accommodating and talked with me to try their dine-in next time...My last visit was Mar.19,2023 around 7:20-7:30pm.
I was forced to go here because the online order I made and paid for was not processed for 5 days. When I spoke to the person handling online orders, he said I can get the delivery after 3 days. Being fed up with the inefficiencies I had to endure, I decided to make the 3hour roundtrip to get all this over with. To think that the buko pie I ordered was supposed to be a surprise gift. It made the experience of dealing with Rowena's unpleasant.
I honestly think that prices are so high and products are so hyped. Prices range from 200 and up but quality and taste is definitely good. Gcash, debit cards or cash payments are available.
The buko pie and tarts was excellent, the buko to custard ratio was the right amount, the buko was not tough to the bite. My daughter loved it
