The quiet ambience of the café completes the euphoria that every book lover wants. It is really a great place to read, refill... (coffee) and relax. In addition to coffee, books and ambience, this café also serves delicious foods and delicious desserts that will let you safely bind. In a setting I could order their Halo-Halo, Fred's Fries, Keep Calamansi and Brotpork Chop Bowl. What I highly recommend to try out is their Special Halo-halo. It's just the best tasting Halo-halo I've ever tasted!
I'm not a fan of Halo-Halo, but I like Fred's Halo-Halo because the shaved ice is not just "ice". It's more of shaved ice candy. You also have rice toppings. I like the place before this book has shelves. They have to give it back to justify their name.
I recommend this place for people who needs to be alone. The serve good food and has a simple and homely interior. You can surely get a peace of mind.
The atmosphere in Tagbilaran may be chilly, but there are hidden gems perfect for "me time." I discovered my sanctuary at Fred's. The drinks and food are affordable for students. Visit during off-peak hours to avoid the noisy crowd. Their truffle Frappe, priced at Php75, is a delightful treat to savor while listening to soft rock music and getting lost in a good book. Ahh, it truly takes you to wondrous places.
I recently visited Fred's for the first time and was impressed by the beautiful interior design, which resembled a cozy bookshop or cafe. The noise level was low, making it an ideal spot for reading, studying, or catching up with loved ones. The staff provided friendly and exceptional service. I decided to try the Halo-Halo as I had heard it was one of the best in town, and it did not disappoint. The ice was finely crushed and flavorful, with just the right amount of ingredients to make it unique. It was so sweet that I didn't need to add sugar. Topped with Ube ice cream and rice crispies for added texture, it was the perfect treat to enjoy in the relaxing atmosphere of Bohol.
