The prices have remained high, if not increased, so it is not the best value for your money. I suggest they offer larger portions or reduce their prices. The decor is wonderful and the service is friendly and welcoming.
Located in Piazza One Serendra in Bonifacio Global City, GRAND CAFÉ CHELSEA offers a pleasant dining experience both inside and out. The warm and friendly staff are ready to welcome you to this contemporary restaurant with a friendly atmosphere that matches its interior perfectly. The main dining room is chic and well-arranged, though during our visit, it was apparent that there was a lack of human resources which led to longer wait times and delays in service. However, our wait staff was patient and knowledgeable, explaining the diverse menu offerings from local to international dishes. The pasta dishes were flavorful and honest, while the braised short ribs were tender, flavorful, and delectable. Our overall dining experience was scrumptious and satisfying, with everyone at the table nodding in approval and rubbing their satisfied tummies. Despite the wait, we found that it was worth it. I have been to this restaurant four times in the past four weeks, and each time the experience has been getting worse. The wine list is limited and the few options available are not cold enough. The food is served inconsistently, and my companions had already finished eating before my simple burger was brought out. This is unacceptable and I cannot recommend this place or visit again. It used to be a enjoyable spot for lunch, but now it's too chaotic and unpredictable. Come on, staff, step up your game!
I have been to this restaurant 2 years ago for my husband's birthday celebration. We were party of 25. At that time, service was so so...not good not bad just plain ok. However, we got disappointed because of the flies roaming around. We called the attention of the waiters and did nothing. We only got their attention when one of the guests showed the waiter we had trapped the 2 flies inside the glass. At that time we reported to the manager. The food was okay, nothing excellent to report or brag about.Today, after two years not visiting the place we had lunch. We thought maybe staff and management changed, maybe it did because different faces, but service is really bad. They have wide selection in their menu but the service is too slow. We kept asking for water for a start, took a while. We keep asking for bread, took a while ...our food took time to be served. I can understand if it was packed, was just medium crowd....they were just plain slow. It was good this is not a business meeting that we have to rush rush rush...glad it was just weekend lunch with a friend. Will I try it again? not anymore!
This is one of those Filipino restaurants that have really good food but whose culinary direction is difficult to pinpoint. I love their oatmeal fried chicken, and the rosemary lechon kawali. Great salads. Their desserts are wonderfully eclectic too. Anyone would be able to find something to enjoy in their menu. This restaurant is best approached from the Serendra entrance beside Market Market.
