Feedback gevenI went to this restaurant to meet some people to talk about a very interesting project over dinner. Food was alright. I love the unlimited cabbage. Their Tonkatsu was tender and delish. But they did not give us all 5 bowls of rice all at once. Some of us waited longer to start eating (something i really felt bad about, because we did not start eating at the same time).. and the tea we requested BEFORE the meal arrived AFTER the meal.Their staff seemed to be very busy to take care of us, which also made me sad because my friends really tried to be patient and we would just laugh over ignored requests.. i am not going back anytime soon.
The Mixed Sashimi is pricey and doesn't have that many pieces of sashimi on it. We visited for lunch as a group of four and everyone enjoyed the food, but the portions were small, and it was a bit pricey for the Philippines.
If you love tonkatsu, they you must try saboten. their breading is light and crispy, giving you that full meat flavor, unlike other tonkatsus where the breading overpowers the taste of the meat. they don't accept reservations and it can get too crowded during the weekends so try to be early if you want to try this out. Service is great. I just look up, without even raising my hands, and a server is beside me asking me if i needed anything.
Classy place with classy Japanese food. :-bd
I love saboten japanese restaurant.
