My favorite is bangsilog because the bangus is so crunchy. It's just annoying sometimes that eggs and any dish really swim in the oil. If not bangsilog, my order is liempo.
3m "malamok, malangaw at mainggay" the staff are always busy talking to each other even the cook joins them while preparing your food. They always play really loud music even if you are wearing headphones you can still hear it. If you want a quick breakfast cheap meal, this is your go to place. Bring some mosquito repellant.
For any "silog" cravings, Sinangag express is a quick stop. Their meals are fairly priced, with my favorite Tapsilog at Php 75, with additional Php 5 for take out. The waiting time is fairly long.
5/26/2016 For starters, they didn't have my initial craving of Beef Pares yet. Second, the tapa in their Tapsilog was a cross between a tapa and corned beef which was quite odd tasting. Probably the saving grace for this al fresco hole in the wall was that the chili sauce was quite abundant and are already placed on the tables.
I thought chilled taho was Dell's novel idea, until I wandered to Sinangag Express' store when I was discouraged by the lunch line at Dell's and all I wanted was an ice cold drink. I thought I was looking at some kind of almond pudding with tapioca when I saw the plastic cups stacked beside cans of soda. Of course when I learned it was chilled taho, I had to try it. First of all, some assembly required as the sugar syrup came in a separate packet, like you would get for soy sauce at a siomai stall. While gingerly piercing the packet, I prayed that I wouldn't be wearing syrup on my blouse for the rest of the day. Second, it was bland. Third, the soy was more jelly and less slurpy. Fourth, the tapioca were small, but Dell's chilled taho didn't have chewy sago either, so that's a draw. Verdict: well, I guess you never know until you try. *** Recently, out of want for something different than another order of Seafood Bagoong at RBX, I tried SE's bangusilog with a side of atchara. It was pretty decent. *** Oh heavenly yet sinful bagnet how I love you so! I'm upgrading my rating from 2 to 3.5!
