If you love Spanish cuisine, give Tapeo a try for a change! This restaurant is known for its chill ambiance and delicious tapas. They offer a Tapa-all-you-can option on their extensive menu, which includes Spanish treats like Lechuga Romana con Cabrales, Tortilla de Patatas y Jamon Serrano, Angulas, Cerdo al Horno, Costillas Asadas, Brazo de Tapeo Jamon Ibérico, Chorizo Ibérico, Albóndigas, Calamares, Tortilla, Callos, and more. During our visit for lunch, they had a lunch promo from 12pm-2pm for 2 or 3 people, which included Lechuga Romana con Cabrales as a starter salad, Cerdo al Horno as the main dish (slow roasted pork belly served with fabada and saffron rice), and Churros con Chocolate for dessert, all served with iced tea. The restaurant has a cozy, intimate dining area with a cool Spanish design ambiance, making it a great place to hang out with friends and family.
This is my second visit to this restaurant. This time I tried the oven-baked pork and shrimp. Both dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and attentive. I also recommend trying their paella and clams, though the clams portion may not be very filling.
I've been to Spain twice, but only enjoyed its cuisine here at Tapeo. The place is cozy, so its not fit for a party, unless you take it privately for yourself. Sample what you feel you'd like to, but if you want to keep your stomach satisfied, and not lose out on conversations during the meal, order the Unlimited Tapas, no question about it. Ask for their house wine and try to see which days they have their acoustic guitarist. Whether you stay inside the resto, or dine outside under the stars, you'll be pampered with a good selection of the meats, fishes and poultries.
My wife and I went to have lunch on weekday, more or less around 2 PM, and the restaurant was almost empty. This is why we went in, and also because last time we came in this area, on evening time, this restaurant was FULL. So I wanted to see why ... We were really happy having decided a "pit stop" there ... Excellent food, very smily personnel, never hesitating to provide advise on what is the best (not necessarily the more expensive!!!) on the menu ... A nice stop over for those enjoying spanish food (which does not systematically mean tapas, adversely to what the name suggests). Will come back on a night time once to see how the atmosphere can be ...
