Restaurant de la Gare - Taillebourg

What a fabulous little place.. Taillebourg is a hidden gem, and this restaurant is the same. Like many bar/restaurants in France the exterior (by British standards) belies the fantastic food offering. These places are always busy at lunchtime, and it is great that some also serve food in the evenings. We have enjoyed another fabulous evening meal, home cooked, with obvious passion. Never judge a book by its cover. Great food, wine, and great value.

Friendly obliging staff, freshly cooked food, excellent value for money....and there is always a fish dish on the menu...very rare!

Everything is perfect for reception, quality, quantity and prices! It's worth the detour!
