Black Dog Pub Hēi Gǒu Jiǔ Ba

I went to this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night. We ordered the Chicago-style pizza which was one of the most unique and delicious pizzas I've ever had. Andy, the owner, greets you as if you've known each other for years. If Andy is not there, Celine is the person to ask for. She has a warm, friendly smile and is happy to chat with you. We also tried the homemade curly fries which were absolutely delicious. Black Dog has something for everyone and unbeatable prices.

Blackdog is like my second home. I have been in Kaohsiung for over 10 years, and this cozy pub has always been a safe and happy place for me. I miss it so much. Due to COVID, I am currently not in Taiwan. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful city and revisit my favorite drinking spot at Blackdog. Please save my spot for me!

The classic pizza at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is very enjoyable. The staff are able to speak English well. It's a hidden gem!

Dive bar with a friendly staff. Good place to go if you are looking for a bit of an edgy spot. Breaded buffalo wings, deep dish pizza, and burrito are very solid options for pub grub. Nice spot to post up and drink cheap draft lager and interact with others.

One of the nicest bars in Kaohsiung. Very laid back and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and good atmosphere overall. My favorite bar in Taiwan.
