Yang Sheng Vegetable - Tainan

After going here 3 times I think it’s decent. I got the sesame noodles (40NT) and a plate of braised vegetables and tofu. They have an English menu hidden at the register. You’re supposed to write your order on their paper form and take it to the register but the form is in Chinese so just point to the English menu and staff were always friendly enough to help fill out the order form. The braised vegetables/tofu aren’t written on the menu you order this, you get a plastic basket from the register and use tongs to fill it up with your selection of fresh produce. Whatever you select they’ll take and braise. A plate for 2 people was about 120NT but it varies depending on what you select.

Simple, but clean and delicious place! I have the sesame noodles (the best noodles I had in taiwan) and some noodles and was happy with my choice. English menu, even if the personal does not speak English.
