Oldtown White Coffee Taiping Sentral Mall

This restaurant is a great place to visit and spend some quality time. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and bright. There are a variety of dishes to choose from, but my favorite is the Nasi lemak, which is delicious. The coffee is also fantastic, with a unique taste that sets it apart from other places. I was pleasantly surprised by the kaya and butter toast, as well as the old town white milk tea. The bread was light and perfectly toasted, and the portions of kaya and butter were generous. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here.

The restaurant is overpriced for food of average quality. It seems that the high cost is due to the brand name, cutlery, and luxurious decor. The soup lacked salt and tasted like plain water with a garnish and slight aroma. The noodles I ordered were not as appetizing as advertised. It may have lacked salt, I'm not sure. I recommend bringing your own salty soy sauce. The drinks were the only highlight. If you want to experience how wealthy people eat daily, this is the place to go. Otherwise, you may regret it when you see the bill. LOL.

I chose a table outside near the stairs, which turned out to be a poor choice as the staircase was a smoking area. The lingering cigarette smoke was bothersome even after the smokers had left, and there were no blinds to block out the sunlight. The time it took for our orders to be delivered was satisfactory. One of the waiters who served me was skilled, as he could remember all the menu items just by looking at the codes. However, I did notice that one of the tables was not properly wiped down and some tables were not set up.

Went there for late dinner n snack. Ordered chicken noodles n kaya and butter bread. Was told that the bread is out of stock. How can old town kopitiam's bread be out of stock esp on a monday!?

Very bad experience, order coke float, coke taste like water, ask for change, said its like that. Milk tea is like milk only, complain then add a bit more tea. Then left out one order. Staff behave like not their business. Not even worth a star...
