Abotanan Restaurant - Taiwala

Cozy atmosphere, away from the buzz from the beach. Nice and diversified Filipino menu. Nice place to watch cinema (some nights), outdoors, while sipping a drink in the warm Bohol nights.

To my surprise this place doesn't offer table service. We walked in, sat ourselves down at a table under a marquis, and waited. Nothing happened for several minutes and then a woman came and told us that you order and pay at the counter. I wanted to leave but the compromise was to order the pizza and take it back to our room.The pizza was ok.

It took us a while to find this restaurant as the location map on tripadvisor is not accurate, use facebook location. The place is quite basic and a bit dark, they show open air movies. We could choose from many dishes starting from 30 PHP to 100 PHP. It was quite cheap, we spent 270 PHP for two. You can ask them to heat up the food

Abotanan has good local food and very good Pizzas. It's a bit out the way but therefore offers quality meals for little money. Also a good place if you're into pool or darts.

Après avoir essayé plusieurs restaurants Philippins, j'ai essayé celui la, qui est en mode tu regarde dans les casseroles et tu choisi... franchement pas top, Natty & Henry un peu plus loin sur la route est bien supérieur pour un prix équivalent. C'est du filippino -, il parait que les pizza sont bonnes ?, j'aurais peut être du essayer ! pour ma part j'ai mangé un Adobo de poulet, mal servi et plein d'os... c'est clair je n'y retournerais pas
