The chicken dishes were particularly outstanding, cooked on the grill outside and they were incredibly tasty thanks to the special sauce used. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider dessert selection, as the ice cream and crumb option wasn't the most exciting. Despite this, it is definitely the best restaurant along the beach.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, and their cappuccino is definitely worth trying. The location is fantastic, with many tables right on the beach. The service is friendly, although they may need to work on their organization at times.
This review is specifically for the restaurant. We went for breakfast and ordered the Filipino breakfast sausage, a croissant, a waffle, a coffee, and a mango juice. The juice came from a carton, so it was safe to consume. The coffee was a bit weak. The watermelon was not very sweet or ripe, but the fruit salad with mangoes, bananas, and pineapples was good. There is a large selection of menu options and the restaurant is a nice place to sit, with shaded seating right on the beach. The food quality is average to above average. Prices are slightly higher than average for the area. The staff is generally beautiful and relatively attentive.
Very unforgettable location. the best for the private sphere and for couples. the pool is also beautiful. tropical themen resort and room. eating is also great, and the staff is very courteous. walking distance to the beach and main street.
My wife and I booked at the Pyramid Resort without know much about it and we were pleasantly surprised. In fact, we liked it so much we cancelled our rooms at the highly rated Bohol Beach Club so that we could continue our remaining days at Pyramid. So why did we cancel a top rated hotel with a private beach for a less private one...exactly because the night life along the Alona Beach-front was far more exciting vibe every night walking up and down the beach eating great food, drinking frozen cocktails at the different bars and restaurants. There always seemed to be fun on the beach at night. The festivities shut down at 11pm and we retreated to our room #1 which I thought was the best room there. Most of the rooms encircle a very deep pool 10 feet deep to be exact and has nice landscaping giving a relaxed vibe. The property is not as large as the other chains but that gives it its charm. There is a nice open air dining room next door that literally is in a pyramid shape, its a good spot to grab coffee on the beach in the morning before going on your tours. there's a Dunkin Donuts a couple blocks inland if you need strong American coffee : There are many fun places along the beach front to visit...I believe the restaurant is called Jasz Bar that served super fresh seafood cooked to order, and we found ourselves walking down to Henann Resort to grab a Margarita and Frozen Daquiri every night. Xion is the friendly bartender at Henann. Pyramid Pros: Great Price, Very Clean 2 Story Units with big balconies, Big Fluffy Pillows and Thick Mattresses, Central Location, Staff are Wonderful. Pyramid Cons: Bedroom is on the 2nd floor but the Bathroom is on the 1st floor. Overall enjoyed it very much and happy to choose Pyramid over a resort double its price.
