The charming port of talais is the ideal place to take a break away from the hustle of tourists who come to enjoy the Atlantic coast. historic place where you will find the oyster museum, pretty cabanons and two restaurants for lunch or dinner! a very good point also for the small park where children can have fun.
Small port of the medoc to visit absolutely, more than thirty fishermen's huts, with 2 small restaurants, 6 magrets and Sophie's guinguette, prefer the high tide. In the heart of the tides, don't hesitate to visit the entrance of the port on the Gironde, a picnic area awaits you with a tasting of oysters of the local marauder. Good visit to Talais.
Very picturesque, but rather sad in winter. Nothing is open, it's a shame, it's always a good place to walk to the Gironde estuary. Restaurants should open in April.
Discovered by chance, we enjoyed this small visit to the port of Talais with its white and blue huts managed by the town hall and left in concession to individuals, its small museum and its incredible position in the nature with a trail of one km 800 that leads to the oyster parks of the estuary. At low tide, we should be lush far after the oyster areas. The site is superb and here we realize the grandeur of the estuary. Sublime! The atmosphere of the mini village is unbelievable with the premises that play the petanque in the street (seule main street by drinking the apéro and the kindness of the person who welcomed us to the mini museum by telling us the story of the very pleasant place! We can eat in two small restaurants in the mini village! Very nice discovery on our petrination from the tip to the estuary! By following we have necessarily pushed to Richard’s lighthouse!!!
