Charlie Park - Tallahassee

We had an incredible experience here. Love the vibe, and the service was good, despite it being so busy. The food was surprisingly really, really good. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back. Plus, views of the city are incredible.

Drinks were average. Views/ambiance was nice. The people who worked here were rude. Will not be back.

Preston was a great bartender, burger was actually insanely good when ordered medium rare. Happy hour menu itself is kinda lacking options wise but they make up for it with great service. Thanks again!

I was disappointed after strong recommendations for this restaurant. The one plate we got, a shareable (tapas) was delicious. However our main courses were greasy and not worth the price paid. One course, the burger came with a few house made chips. The burger itself was dripping with grease and while asked to be cooked medium (it is cooked to order) half of it was cooked bleu.Onto dessert. Dessert was the espresso black forest cake that didn 't really reflect espresso or black forest cake. It tasted more like any frozen cake I could purchase at any Applebee 's or Ruby Tuesday. A true disappointment.The view was great(ish), of the park and the CSX railroad and neighborhood beyond that. Not exactly the Tallahassee skyline. The music was so loud, I couldn 't hear my wife or waiter.I likely will not be back and after seeing the many empty seats, I would not be surprised if this restaurant makes it through Tallahassee 's summer draught that is notoriously rough on restaurants here.

Food: So it is supposed to have a tapas style menu, however there were only a couple of tapas options to choose from. We also had a couple of their larger plates, they didn't skimp on the lobster in the fettuccine. Dessert was cake.... It is hard to mess up chocolate cake.Service: best wait staff in TallahasseeAtmosphere: Being up above the park gives a bigger city vibe. The height also brings a little breeze to the air.Parking: There is a paid city parking garage across the street.Dietary restrictions: The menu is narrow, make sure you check that there are options that suit your diet needs before hand.
