El Jalisco Kerry Forest - Tallahassee

El Jalisco's Kerry Forest location was awesome today, both with service and with the food being delicious!!! It's a little further drive for us than the other location that we used to go to, but so well worth it! Our waitress, Dinora was so wonderful! We did not have to wait long or ask anyone else for anything. Very happy with our visit here!

For Tallahassee this place isn't bad, food is fine, good for groups, and the 2x margaritas is alway nice. The Birria street tacos are really good.

Food was good, but seems like serving portions were small. In this day and age, restaurants have got to STOP doing this. You pay a higher price for less food...NOPE!!! That's taking advantage of your customers. Not good and it discourages people from wanting to give you business.

Absolute terrible experience. Turns out that they decide to close an hour early if they feel like it. Worse yet, when you complain that you made plans, they rudely tell you your business isn?t worth it and they don?t care if you come back. No danger of that. I will never be back. Terrible service. I will campaign for people not to bother you anymore.

The service is generally quite good. We opted for outdoor seating since our family is at high risk, but unfortunately, this restaurant seems to have the worst fly issue of any place we've been to. As soon as our food arrived, we were swarmed by around 8 to 10 flies. They really need to consider installing a commercial bug zapper, setting up fly traps, or relocating their dumpster. We'll definitely return, but maybe not for a few weeks, as it wasn't a very relaxing experience. I sincerely hope that the owners take steps to address the fly problem.
