Newk's Eatery - Tallahassee

I'm a long time local Newks patron. We got a pizza last night that wasn't cooked in the middle because everything was piled there, I got the same about two weeks ago. The salad looked good with the stuff on top that hid the wilted lettuce underneath, kind of edible after picking ... The high school kids working there were very loud, eating behind the counter and pretty busy on their mobile devices. Nice kids but need some guidance. This is our third time with a bad food experience over the past...two months. What happened?

I am not posting in anger, but more in disappointment. Newk's used to be a great place to eat, but a while back I ordered to go for lunch and when I arrived it was determined they gave my food to someone else, so I reordered only to discover they made my order wrong. I called and let management know and they gave me a free salad for future use to make up for the wrong doing. I order today and they forgot some of the ingredients, along with sending the wrong salad dressing. Three strikes, you're out!

Ordered extras of almost every category for Cobb and Ultimate. Total cost $40 for 2 salads. This is what we got. Dead, wilted, yucky. Worse salad in town?

I've been enjoying the Portobello sandwich with coleslaw, and I absolutely love it! The other ladies also had a great experience with their meals.

I am a fan of newks! quality options, some of which are quite healthy, although probably not as healthy as I would like to think. I go to the newk q I think is a good sandwich with a reasonable part for the price point. there can be kind of busy, but there are plenty of sitting in the room!
