Sugar Rush - Tallahassee

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was very excited. I ordered an ice cream cookie sandwich at 8:40 and waited outside for over 40 minutes before checking with the staff inside. The lady informed me that it would be another five minutes. I waited another 15 minutes before going inside again to inquire. After nearly an hour of waiting, I was told that they had run out of the flavor I ordered. The lady was not apologetic and I had to ask for a refund. This experience was disappointing and frustrating, as I had waited so long for a flavor they didn't even have in stock. While I understand that small businesses can be understaffed and food may take time to come out, such a long wait followed by finding out they didn't have my order was frustrating. I can get my money back, but not the time I wasted waiting. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time, and I usually try to support small businesses.

The milkshakes were so yummy! We will definitely be back to try some other flavors.

Really good first experience as a family of 7. And the staff was helpful and friendly. Excited about a second trip.

The ice cream is always great! The service isn't awful but it's getting kinda close they all seem like they hate there jobs. The bathroom is really cool has a fluffy led cloud ceiling! The shop is starting to get really run down and it all kinda seems gross like your feet will stick to every inch of the floor the kitchen area looks suspicious. But like the ice cream is good! I hope they do some much needed maintenance and cleaning so I don't have to second guess if I'm going to get sick from eating there.

We ordered small milkshakes and they were delicious! They noticed that I had my dog with me on the patio and kindly brought him a pup cup, which was adorable.
