I asked questions about whether dishes were vegan or not and the head server came out of the kitchen took however much time I needed to talk about all of the dishes and what could be made vegan. I had hot and sour soup (vegan!! , mushu veggies, broccoli and tofu, and green beans. Everything was great! They have a lunch buffet as well that I have not tried.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. A delightful woman helped me, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I tried the tangerine chicken combination platter, and it exceeded my expectations. The tangerine chicken was amazing. I also must mention, the egg spring roll was the best I have had in a long time.
My fiancé and I dined at this restaurant for the first time and will never return. If you enjoy the food here, that's great, but our experience was not pleasant. On 7/22/22, my fiancé ordered shrimp lo mein, fried chicken, and General Tso chicken with white rice. Unfortunately, the chicken, shrimp, and noodles all had a bitter taste. The portions were small, with only 7 small shrimps and mostly noodles. The chicken appeared old and refried. We spent $36.39 and did not enjoy our meal. I only ate the shrimps and threw the noodles away, while my fiancé ate what he could and also threw out the rest. This restaurant seems to have declined despite the positive reviews. It was a disappointing waste of money, especially with today's inflation.
Why would anyone purchase this food? First off this is takeout only the inside is in shambles with no place to sit and wait and it appears as if everybody buys their food online and just rushes in to pick it up. Now for one of the things that I just don?t understand here in Tallahassee, this restaurant is highly rated and yet the two meals we got we?re not edible. The beef lo mein was so overcooked it was mushy and completely dried out with a few pieces of beef that were like shoe leather, then some special Japanese shrimp and pasta dish which turned out to be nothing more than the same over cook dried out lo Mein noodles with shrimp and a bit of egg added to it, total bill over $30 result we had to find something else to eat. Shame on any restaurant that would charge $15 for a handful of dried out pasta. So sad to toss $30 in the trash!
One of the better Chinese takeout places in Tallahassee. The prices are better than a lot of places, and the portion was what you would expect. The General Tso?s was good, with a nice balance of sauce that left the chicken with a good crunch to it. Of all the takeout only type places in Tallahassee this one has been the best so far!
