The food itself is genuinely great, but it's important to know your audience. Most of the diners are either locals or fishermen passing through, along with families enjoying a day on the Forgotten Coast. Meals are served on paper plates, so it's best to keep your expectations in check and appreciate the hardworking staff. If your partner is looking for an extensive wine list, you might want to choose a different place.
I visited the restaurant for lunch on Wednesday, August 24. There were only two waitresses working, and one of them also acted as the cashier. The food was quite good, but the service was a bit slow. Additionally, there were no lights in the men's restroom, and there was no switch to turn them on.
You can always count on The Seineyard to serve up a plate of delicious seafood. The real challenge is choosing which entree to order, as they are all fantastic. I highly recommend The Seineyard, regardless of which location you visit—you can expect consistent good service and tasty food every time.
The Seineyard was great! The food and service were fantastic. This is not a place you come to for the fancy accoutrements!!! Paper plates. Plastic ?silverware.? But the food is fresh. The prices were a little higher than I would expect without all the fineries that you?d usually get at a restaurant, but I think they were acceptable (though I wasn?t paying for my meal). I?d recommend it to anyone looking for a lot of food (portion sizes were ample) and food right off the boat.
Flounder is amazing. baked oysters were also good. homemade wow puppies and bush puppies are awesome. my favorite hush puppies from every place ever!
