Much more than fine. This store should be the best restaurant in UNO city, not just because the taste bust also the service. We tried 2 times during 3 days when we traveled to Uno. Extremely recommend the FISH set menu.

Attention vegetarians and vegans: this restaurant has an excellent vegetable set. They will leave off the miso soup and substitute another side dish. My excellent dinner included grilled eggplant with ginger, sauteed mixed vegetables in black pepper sauce, tofu with green onion and soy sauce, pickled cucumbers, and rice. All for 800 yen. There is a large pot of free, black tea on the table. The staff is very nice and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended!

Amazing homemade traditional meal for affordable price (most meals under 1k yen) well worth the visit if in the area. Arrived at 1150 on a Monday. Was full inside but seating was available in a few mins. English menu was available. Ordered the fish set menu for 700yen which included rice, miso soup, tofu, pickled vegetables and your choice of fish chosen at the counter. Fish I chose was tender and had a sweet soy tare sauce. Miso was one of the best I've had with strong flavours and a poached egg. Tofu and pickled vegetables were light and refreshing compliments. Atmosphere was very cosy and service lovely.

Loved this place so much we went twice on our trip to the art islands.
