Pollo Tropical - Tamarac

The managers Fabiola and Martine were AMAZING!! I had a last minute request to have a party catered, and the website wouldn?t let me make large orders the same day. I went to this location, and these ladies had my platters ready in less than two hours to feed over 50 people! Thank y?all so much!!

Martine the Manager is extremely rude. I made an order online and sent my husband to pick it up. He got there and she refused to make the order. I ordered a chicken and half, 2 large rice, 1 large beans, large plantains, and cuatro leches. She said if she made our order she would run out of food!!! IT WAS A CHICKEN HALF!!!! How is placed called pollo which means chicken cannot serve a chicken and half because they will run out at 6:20pm on a Saturday. How will you run out of chicken at 6:20 on Saturday when you close at 10pm. What are you going to serve the rest of night? Obviously she cant manage customers or her own inventory of chicken. As a manager myself for customer service I couldn't treat my clients poorly. She could offer to call another location or to wait. Not refuse to make food and be extremely rude about it.

The Jamaican guy Michael, made the best award winning chicken I ever had in my life!! The breast of the chicken was amazing! Caridad thank you so much!! Mike I also thank you for you great service!! Amazing, absolutely amazing ???? I recommend if your I need of great food come here!!.wow!!

I walked in to this PT today as I vist and buy regularly. After standing in kine 20 minutes when I arrived at the counter I was told cash only because their system was down. Being frustrated by this I asked for the manager and was pointed to a table where some of the employes were having a meeting with their manager Caridad which I had met before. She excused herself from the table ran behind the counter and took control. I was able to get my whole chicken and go home to my lovely and hungry qween. This location is awesome. They are always friendly even as busy as they are and even during a situation as this. Thank you Caridad and the whole team.

The drive thru takes forever and you waiting for someone to take the order just to hear a bunch of conversations in the background. This is a every pollo restaurant thing it happens at them all. Every time I go into one I'm hoping for a smooth transition but that's never the case.
