I used to visit this fish and chip shop often, but I recently returned after many years while in town. The fish and chips still tasted great, but I was disappointed to find the tables and chairs were dirty, with salt scattered all over them and no one seemed to be cleaning them. The plates that the food was served on were small, more like side plates than dinner plates. Despite the tasty food, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the establishment.

The food service at this restaurant was terrible. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, and I did not feel like my patronage was valued. The staff seemed unhappy and did not smile. The food was very poor quality and did not seem fresh or up to a reasonable standard. There was a young girl with dark hair behind the counter who needs to improve her customer service skills, as she was eating food and chatting with her friends while serving customers. I was not happy with my experience and would advise others to avoid this place at all costs. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I can't say anything other than to avoid this place like the plague. I paid £4.65 for a pie, chips, and peas in a small container. The chips were dry and seemed to be made from low-quality potatoes, the peas were of poor quality, and the pie tasted like it was microwaved. It's clear that the staff are used to serving subpar food to customers who don't mind.

Popped in with my partner what terrible service, girl behind the counter was rude and didn’t know what she was doing.Basically threw my change at me the man cooking the food was dirty batter all over him. was to busy on his phone to even notice a paying customer. RudeFood wasn’t the best Wont be returning in a rush

After walking past this place for a while I decided to go in with the folks and see what it was like and I was not disappointed, you order your food first at the counter and then they shout your order number when your food is ready, I ordered fish chips peas and curry and the portion was huge and fresh. It’s rare to find good fish and chips these days and this place I would definitely go back to.
