Martin's Craft Bakery - Tameside

I really enjoy going to Martins. The staff at this martini bar are always so pleasant and friendly. The food is always fresh and delicious, especially the pies. I highly recommend this place for its great service.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. On Thursday, the 9th, I walked in to get a sandwich and immediately noticed the lack of hygiene from the staff. The young girl in glasses was talking to her colleague while scratching her skin. When I asked about a Turkish sandwich, things went downhill. She touched the meat with unwashed hands and then transferred it to a counter with a piece of plastic. She then proceeded to handle the food without gloves and touched various items without washing her hands. I witnessed multiple hygiene violations and raised my concerns with the owner. I was pleased to receive a personal call from a director of the bakery, Toby, who addressed the issue professionally and promptly. His response was exemplary, and I appreciate his dedication to fixing the training problem. I am now satisfied with their customer service and give them 5 stars.
