As for the food, it was bland and lacking any seasoning. Everyone at my table ordered different dishes, and we all agreed that the food was subpar. I had the sliders, which were simply four dinner rolls still attached, topped with a large slab of meat—definitely not the typical slider presentation. The fries were disappointing as well; they needed a lot of salt just to be edible. The place appears to have been redesigned to appeal to millennials and Gen Z, but it feels very inauthentic. The high-top tables are paired with bulky leather chairs that offer little back support, making it difficult to scoot in without causing the table to shake and risking spills. It was quite uncomfortable. Overall, my first visit was really disappointing, and I have no plans to return.
Finally, around 10 PM, I went inside to find out why I hadn’t been served, only to be told that the kitchen was closed. Ironically, I had just seen a tray of tacos being delivered to another customer right in front of me. It felt incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. It seems that if you are young and Caucasian, you receive excellent service, but if you are brown and mature, you’re overlooked. I sensed a real bias here. As a regular foodie, I’ve never been treated this poorly before. I considered giving the restaurant another chance after the owner's suggestion but ultimately decided against it—communication with the owner dropped off entirely. I will not be returning, as this only confirmed my initial experience. If you’re looking for a place that values its customers, I recommend going to the wood-fired pizza place or the Wexford Irish Club in the same area instead. They know how to treat their patrons like family.
One of the bartenders admitted online that they make their mimosas with sparkling water to cut off people they feel have had too much to drink while still charging the price of an alcoholic mimosa.
Do not recommend. Food is okay. Nothing special. I went to brunch and had very bad service. We had to go inside and ask twice for our waitress Jenna to come and take our orders. When she did come she was not pleasant. We did not receive utensils when we were seated, and when we asked for utensils we received plastic utensils... keep in mind that this place charges $15 a plate. I also received a very dirty cup when I got my mimosa. They also included a 18% automatic tip in the bill. I have never left a review on a business, even when I thought the service was bad, but I just thought this was very horrible.
