edison fooddrink lab - Tampa

I had been to Edison about 6-8 times but had not been in a while. No surprises, same great spot. Welcomed by staff, attentive to our needs, water menus and a courteous waitress. Drinks were quick and good. Great knowledge of the menu, we didn’t do the 8 course tasting menu but may have if we were just 2. I ordered the Tuna, the potato Oyster and the short rib appetizers. We had the Scallops, the duck and the lamb. The only disappointment was the lamb and the duck, both had little flavor and were easily forgotten and not finished. The scallops were very tasty. If I could tell you a secret though, the short rib appetizer is possibly the best thing you could eat in Tampa. It is arguably a top ten food item in all of the city. Not to say we were over the top on it after a drink or two, the table behind us surprisingly ordered a second rib appetizer to go and we all discussed our amazement . The sauce is fantastic. We talked about it all day today at our volleyball tournament. If I went back, even tonight, I would order the tuna (they should have mentioned the need to mix the entire plate together and eat it mixed together) delicious. I would order the oysters again, both beautiful and delicious. And for dinner, I would order the ribs! May even order two orders of them. Go try them!!!!

Superb! No where in Tampa like it! Check it out you won’t be disappointed ! Chef’s Kiss selections. Not your run of the mill choices. We especially like that the menu changes monthly and it’s a print menu. Wow wow wow! They nailed it ! Run and make a reservation now if you want something new and scrumptious.

An enjoyable meal and the restaurant was quiet as it was early 5 pm dinner and few other patrons were present The waiter was attentive and wonderful and every course was excellent The pork ribs were fabulous

This restaurant is simply amazing. Every aspect of it is excellent. We absolutely loved the tuna appetizer and the duck breast. It's hard to resist ordering anything else on the menu. Sara and Dylan provided us with exceptional service. We will definitely be returning soon. Chef Pierola has been impressing us for 40 years, starting in Ybor City. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I had an incredible and artistically satisfying dining experience at this restaurant. I have never been disappointed with the food.
