They also offer complimentary black tea made with saffron, which was absolutely delightful. My portion was so generous that it could easily feed a small family of three, and it was served with raw onions, cucumbers, and carrots—all of which I enjoyed snacking on after finishing the stuffed vegetables. My parents had baked fish that reminded them of their childhood in Kuwait, which is a great indicator of its quality! My husband and brother chose the mixed grill, which was so delicious that I couldn't help but feel envious. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience that I highly recommend!
After reading positive reviews, we decided to visit Khan Murjan, and it certainly did not disappoint us. The service was exceptional; our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and fresh. In addition to the main dishes, they offered lentil soup, which was really tasty. If you're looking for something fresh and delicious, don't hesitate to visit them—they're open late into the night!
My friend and I discovered this hidden gem one night while searching for a place to eat. Khan Murjan is a Middle Eastern restaurant run by a gentleman from Bangladesh. The food, especially the half chicken, was incredible. The only downside is that you have to purchase bottled water. If you're hungry and eager to experience Middle Eastern cuisine, this place should definitely be at the top of your list!
Wow, what a delightful experience. The dishes were large, bright, and flavorful, and the spices were exquisite. My first dish was the lentil soup which was smooth and balanced and literally had me saying wow . Then they brought out the mixed grill platter (pictured) which has chicken, lamb, and beef kababs with rice and fresh vegetables; the meats were perfectly spiced, tender, and all uniquely delicious. I also had the Iraqi bread with garlic butter which wasmouthwatering, and the baba ganoush which was creamy and delicious as ever. This was my first time eating Iraqi food and the owner was very helpful in making sure I ordered something I liked. Also the food came out hot and reasonably fast.I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to spice up your life!
Wonderful food and friendly staff. Very reasonable prices too. If you are looking for Middle Eastern food, especially Halal food and are in the Tampa area then would highly recommend Khan Marjan
