Los Chapos Tacos - Tampa

The dining experience was fantastic, so let’s start there! I visited the location in Ybor, and it was my first time at this restaurant, although I had previously enjoyed the taco truck. The menu offers a delightful variety with options for everyone, including burritos, tacos, salads, shells, quesadillas, chips, and desserts. I usually opt for the birria tacos, but this time I decided to go with street tacos. The only downside was the limited parking; it took me about 15 minutes to find a spot. However, once I placed my order, my food arrived quickly.

I had the birria tacos and an al pastor burrito. The tacos had a delightful crunch, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the broth was incredibly flavorful—definitely a must-try! As for the burrito bowl, I found it had a little too much sauce for my liking, but the al pastor was very tasty.

This restaurant is truly impressive. It's a great spot to gather with friends before or after an outing in Ybor. The atmosphere is the first thing that catches your attention. They offer a covered terrace for those who want to relax with friends and play some games, a dining area with TVs for catching the game, and tables right next to the counter for those who can't wait to dive into the tacos. The real standout dishes here are the shrimp tacos and birria tacos—I almost went back for seconds! The guacamole is made fresh, and you can really taste the quality. Plus, you don’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy a wonderful meal.

I fell in love with this place! there are some good taco restaurants in tampa, but this is one of the great taco restaurants! the place! the music waking up improves the ambiente with a unique but authentic atmosphere! the inner is so sweet from the dining room decor to the neon light photo opps. everything we ordered was too perfection and extremely tastefully sown! oh my gott! the flesh was sooo delicate and tasteful! I'm so glad we picked this up and we'll be back in any case! a great thank you for the whole great service!

Found this spot on IG last year, thank goodness for ads. I am a Tampa native. Love local small businesses over chains. The food options, quality, and pricing are great. The vibe, aesthetics, and staff are great too. There is nothing bad to say about this place, besides parking. Which they can't control and it's because the food is so damn good people line up for it. Literally. Love the outdoor seating when it's not 1,000,000° out lol. Love the chic neon light signs, def makes for good insta and TT pics. I had Bariatric surgery in January, literally couldn't eat solid food for 4 months, this was my first spot to go out. It did take me like a week to eat all my food, but it was so worth it lol. Def try the hot sauces...smack ya mama good! And my daughter would sell her right arm to eat their churros on a regular basis. Love love love!!
