It was good food and enjoyed the bison and elk dinners. Ken was very pleasant to talk to and very informative. He knows his history of the area really well.
We were on road trip and looking for a relatively quick stop for something more than fast food. We did not realize there was one person doing everything. He was friendly but loved to talk about history. We spent 10 minutes listening to him talk before we even got to order. It took an hour to get a ham and cheese sandwich. It was also extremely warm in the dining room. Great place if you want to stay a while and are not in a hurry…it was not for us.
Fantastic food served fresh tasty and warm with history of the building and properties narrative. We felt so special and welcomed. Just like eating and visiting with family.
