The Melting Pot - Tampa

The restaurant has a unique concept that makes it a fantastic choice for dinner and a romantic date night, especially with the cozy private booths. The menu featured fondue, salads, an array of meats and vegetables, and of course, chocolate fondue. However, I wasn't aware that we would need to cook everything ourselves when I organized the dinner—something I should have looked into beforehand. I knew that the cheese and chocolate fondue were for dipping, but I didn't realize we had to cook our own meats. Despite my surprise, everyone else loved their meals and the overall experience. It’s a great idea for a special evening out, but personally, it’s not something I would choose to do again. I appreciated the opportunity to try it, but it’s not quite my style. However, it was excellent for socializing, which I thoroughly enjoyed. They served ample food, and there was plenty to take home, so you won’t have to worry about going hungry. Austin’s service was outstanding—he took great care of us and patiently explained everything.

I always enjoy dining out for a special experience. The variety of options for dinner allows you to select from different cheese dips, proteins, and desserts. The hostesses are the best in all of Tampa Bay!

We went again for a birthday dinner. Always accommodating and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is casual. I wish it was still more upscale as it was in the beginning but all must adapt. The food has always been fresh and good and very filling. All in all it was another great experience there. We made an early reservation for my son's 29th birthday. The staff was amazing, they put us in a secluded booth upon request. Made my son feel incredibly special. The food was OMG OUT OF THIS WORLD! it was great ! We had the bigger night out x 2 ... My son had the steak lovers with his girlfriend and my husband and I had the classic. But we all decided to have dark chocolate with Chambord for our dessert. Absolutely delicious. We had to make a doggie bag for some of our dinner and some of our chocolate. It tastes just as good at home. Yummy Thank you for always being our special place to go to for romantic evenings, birthdays and anniversaries. These pictures are of the chocolate fondue.
