Udipi Cafe - Tampa

It was so good. I was 5 times and tali, curries, bryani is so good. the house kombo the best. but the Gauner was so bad. please not the water, nor creamier. gratulation

Excellent eating! great, friendly staff. my wife has traveled on the world and comes to love Indian cuisine. she had always feared to take us for my love that it would be a bad experience and it would not introduce us to sing that she loved. this place has nailed the aromen and aromen that she remembered from traveling to india and london. from the chicken 65 appetizer to the go chicken, chicken jalfrezi and the tandoori mixing plate to the roseneis dessert. everything was amazing.

This was by far the best Indian food we have ever had. The restaurant may not be fancy, but the food is outstanding. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly.

The South Indian cuisine at this restaurant was out of this world. Everything we tried was fantastic, perfectly seasoned. This is a vegetarian restaurant and we were blown away by the flavors of the food. We started with the appetizer sampler and particularly enjoyed the potato Bonda and vegetable cutlet. The Spaniards were a fun and delicious dish. For our main course, we had the vegetable makhani, which was creamy, rich, indulgent, and vegetarian.

If you're planning a visit to Tampa and craving South Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. Just keep in mind that it's best to arrive before 8:45 PM, as they tend to rush you to order quickly after that time. I wasn't too pleased with the service when we arrived at 9 PM, even though their closing time was 9:30 PM. However, the food quality was exceptional, making me overlook the rushed service. The Idli, soft steamed rice cake served with Cocochutney, was fresh and delightful. The Wada, fried rice and lentil cake, was served nicely with Coconut Cutney and Lentil Soup (Sambar). The Mysore Dosa, a spicy rice cake, is a must-try. Overall, everything was delicious and worth a visit.
