Clydes And Grill - Tamworth

This place was terrible. I took my grandchildren for lunch and instead of the usual box of chips that everyone else was getting, we were given two tiny portions with sauce sachets. When questioned, the waitress told us we were sitting in the bar area. We had to ask for bowls or plates for the children's ketchup to avoid the mess that was dumped unceremoniously on the table. The price was the same as last time we went to Clydes, so I'm not sure where the issue or attitude came from since there are no clear divisions between the restaurant and bar areas. In fact, we were seated in the same area as last time. If I had known, we would have moved to a more family-friendly area (especially considering one of the children was in a wheelchair). I won't be returning anytime soon unless they clearly display the different seating areas, particularly the budget section where we were seated.

We had a fantastic time bowling and then enjoying a meal afterwards. We couldn't find any faults! Our group tried a variety of dishes and all of them were excellent.

We had a family celebration with a party of 7 and we were not disappointed. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. We will definitely be returning.

Brilliant service! Excellent food! Great portions! Free parking with a parking voucher from the restaurant, couldn’t fault it!
