The atmosphere is great for people-watching and mingling with regulars. The Sunday roasts are top-notch, particularly the nut roast and sticky toffee pudding. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but they can be overwhelmed so try not to make too many special requests. The beet selection is perfect for enjoying a pint and unwinding. The cozy library is a perfect spot for a relaxing chat with friends.

This pub is fantastic! The pint was reasonably priced at around £6 (Coke was £2.30), but what stood out the most to me was the decor – it was bustling on a Thursday night at 10 o'clock. You can also enjoy a drink in the "theatre" or have a meal in the "library." I highly recommend this hidden gem.

One of the best bar foods I've ever had! The menu proudly boasts the use of British ingredients and the chefs clearly have a passion for good food. I decided to try the sirloin steak and was blown away by the delicious pfefferkornsoße that accompanied it. The refreshing taste of mint mixed perfectly with the tender steak in my mouth. I was pleasantly surprised!

We had a nice Sunday dinner here! when we arrived there we had a booked table, but we were happy so we could go to the best table and have a look at the sunset. the food was delicious and the service was great. for the starter, we tried her beaten root with brot, never had that before, but it was better than we thought. after that we ordered a Sunday roast of bark meat and one of pigs. they were both very beautiful and delicious, the meerrettich was very strong, but still good for dessert we had a mini brownie and a minipudding that were amazing and it contained a hot drink. you have to say that the hot chocolate was also really rich in taste. really recommend this place both for the beautiful location, eating and service!

Very close to Hyde Park in a quiet neighbourhood is this amazing pub located; You feel like at the bar of a castle, even has different rooms on 2 levels. really loved it. Really relaxed and good atmosphere, Staff was friendly. Did not try the food, so cannot rate. Would definitely recommend.
